New York is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Getting around New York is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across New York's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

so we got the classic favorite bacon egg cheese with the everything bagel and it was actually pretty good, i think it just wasn’t really our thing mostly cause of the ingredients but we wanted to try it regardless. the bagel itself was soo good tho, i definitely recommend!! the line moved fast and we waited like three minutes for our bagel :)

Overpriced AND overhyped. I got the salmon bagel and after adding cream cheese, it came out to around $16. For a $16 bagel, I was expecting this thing to change my life, fix my problems, and maybe pay my rent. It did none of those things. We got three bagels total and somehow spent almost $40. FOR BAGELS. And the taste? Just meh. Nothing bad, nothing amazing, and definitely nothing that made me understand the hype. There wasn’t anywhere for us to sit either, so after spending almost $40 on three bagels, we got the luxury experience of standing on the side of the road eating them. There wasn’t really much service since we ordered online, but I will give the cashier credit, he handed us our overpriced bagels with a smile. Would not recommend. My wallet deserved better.

Such a great bagel spot! We loved everything we ordered. The Classic Lox was fresh and packed with flavor and the Sausage Egg & Cheese with extra cheese was so satisfying. The bagels were perfectly chewy with a nice crisp outside. If you’re planning to stay for a while, it’s best to come early. Definitely worth the visit and we’ll be back to try more from the menu!

We tried the 5 of the highly rated lox and cream cheese bagels, here is our ranking: 1/ Apollo Bagels 2/ Broad Nosh 3/ Bagels and Schmear 4/ Russ and Daughters 5/ Leon Bagels β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€” Didn’t live up to the hype. We ordered the Classic Lox on an everything bagel. It was filled with smoked salmon, cream cheese, cucumber, tomato, red onion, and capers. The bagel itself was very enjoyableβ€”lightly toasted with a nice crunch and great flavor. Unfortunately, the toppings didn’t come together well. The red onion completely overpowered everything else; there was far too much of it, and the slices were too thick. The tomatoes also lacked flavor. In addition, the balance between cream cheese and smoked salmon was off, with too much cream cheese and not nearly enough salmon. Overall, the experience was disappointing. A different combination might have worked better, but in a city like New York, it’s easy to find a much better bagel elsewhere.

In my opinion, the best bagel place in the world. I’m from Chile and I’ve been to New York several times, and a bagel from Leon’s is always a must. I truly believe the flavor of their bagels can’t be found anywhere else. The girls are incredibly kind, the service is fast, and everything runs so smoothly. We went early and there was no line at all. I always order the same thing: a bacon, avocado, egg, and cheese bagel β€” perfection every single time. Thank you for filling both my heart and my stomach. See you on my next visit 🀍
